Automatic Registration and Merging of 3D Surface Scans of Human Head

The article presents a method of registration of range images obtained from different viewpoints and a method to merge them properly into one 3D photograph of patient head for orthodontic diagnosis. Our task concentrates on obtaining automatically the precise and repeatable examination results.
