Since March 1st 2018 ITAI PAS together with AIUT company executes the project "Dynamic wireless framework for Smart City IoT infrastructure". The aim of the project is the development of the devices and the platform for data harvesting from the meters which provide dynamically managed, auto-configured wireless connectivity for the Internet of Things (IoT), which fulfill SmartCity needs. During the seminar the selected problems from this project will be presented, including the use of multi-objective optimization for wireless access point location selection in wireless MAN, communication in low power long-range wireless networks (LP WAN) based on LoRa standard, semantic description of IoT data, and design of the protocol dedicated for IoT, which provides interoperability, data collection, state acquisition and dynamic management of the network topology for the energy usage optimization and traffic delay minimization.
