Prof. Jerry Chun-Wei Lin will speak about  Intelligent Pattern Analytics: Utility-Oriented Concept.

Prof. Jerry Chun-Wei Lin focuses on data mining and analytics, artificial intelligence (ML/DL), optimisation and privacy preservation and security. He developed a new "utility-driven" framework, which has been widely used in different domains and applications to retrieve useful and meaningful utility patterns. Moreover, he has published more than 450+ peer-reviewed papers regarding pattern mining, ML/DL learning and privacy and security issues. He is the leader of the well-known SPMF project, which has developed more than 200 data mining and machine learning algorithms and has been widely cited as being used in many different applications.
