| Abstract | The accuracy of the Minolta 9i 3D laser scanner is evaluated and conditions are defined for its usability in orthodontics. Experiments are described which helped determine optimal scanning conditions such as beam power, patient positioning, the number of scans per examination, and viewpoint selection. |
